Basic policy
Hioki is committed to disclosing information in a timely, fair, and appropriate manner to facilitate understanding, trust, and the ability to fairly evaluate the Company’s operations on the part of all stakeholders, including shareholders and investors.
Disclosure standards
We disclose information in accordance with the rules on timely disclosure of company information set forth by the Tokyo Stock Exchange. In addition, even if certain information does not fall under the scope of those rules, we strive to disclose it promptly and accurately to the extent possible, regardless of whether it is favorable or unfavorable to the company, if we believe it to be useful to our stakeholders and the broader public.
Disclosure methods
Information subject to timely disclosure is released through the Tokyo Stock Exchange’s Timely Disclosure Network (TDnet) and relevant news media. For information not subject to such disclosure but deemed important or urgent, we disclose it appropriately through channels such as TDnet, press releases, or press conferences. Information disclosed through the above methods is also promptly posted on our website.
Quiet period
To prevent information leaks and ensure fairness, we observe a “quiet period” starting the day after the end of each fiscal period until the day of the associated earnings announcement. During this time, we refrain from responding to questions or making comments related to financial results. However, if it becomes apparent during this period that there will be a significant deviation from previously disclosed earnings forecasts, we will disclose the revised forecast via TDnet, press releases, and our website.
