About Hioki’s businesses

What businesses does Hioki operate?

We develop, manufacture, sell, and service electrical measuring instruments, all under one roof at our headquarters in Ueda, Nagano Prefecture. By keeping all operations integrated at a single location, we’re able to respond to customer needs in a more timely and efficient manner.

What kinds of products do you offer?

Our measuring instruments are grouped into four main categories, and we currently offer over 300 models. These products are used in a wide range of applications including R&D, production line inspection and monitoring, and equipment maintenance and service. We also focus heavily on developing the core technologies that support these instruments.

How does Hioki compare with other companies in the industry?

The electrical measuring instrument industry includes many companies, ourselves among them. However, each company differs in product focus and scale of operations—sometimes competing on certain products and complementing each other on others.
