President's Message
President's Message

First, I’d like to express my sincere gratitude for your continued support.
Hioki has established our long-term management policy, Vision 2030, and have begun working as a unified group toward making it a reality. We believe that Hioki’s purpose lies in promoting the safe and efficient use of energy through electrical measurement, thereby contributing to a secure and prosperous society. To fulfill this mission, we’ve defined our vision for 2030 as creating a sustainable society together with customers around the world.
Today, countries around the globe are declaring their commitment to achieving carbon neutrality as societies work toward decarbonization. The shift from fossil fuels to alternative energy sources, along with the acceleration of electrification and digitization, has driven adoption of electric vehicles (EVs), which are symbolic of this transition, made possible by advances in battery technologies. Moreover, the COVID-19 pandemic drastically transformed how we live and accelerated the digital transformation (DX). We’re increasingly living in a world where electricity is essential for nearly everything.
Amid these societal changes, we at Hioki are confident that, through our expertise in electrical measurement and our customer-centric, problem-solving approach, we can make a significant contribution to the global trend through our 12 overseas subsidiaries toward decarbonization and electrification across various industries. To ensure the safe supply and efficient use of electricity, we will continue to deliver measurement solutions that not only provide quantification but also establish new standards for inspection and testing. In this way, we will work alongside customers to realize a sustainable society.
At our headquarters campus, Hioki Forest Hills, trees planted by employees as part of an all-hands initiative in 1988 have grown into a thriving forest. While our business may not always be in the spotlight, we’re committed to supporting customers, and their customers beyond, by continuing to provide trusted measurement standards. Like the trees of Forest Hills, we will pursue sound and steady growth as a company.
We kindly ask shareholders for their continued support in the years ahead.
