Cannot connect GENNECT Cross with an instrument

QI cannot connect the GENNECT Cross mobile app with an instrument. What should I be checking?

Please confirm the following when you cannot connect the GENNECT Cross mobile app with an instrument.

  1. The Bluetooth function of the instrument is ON.
  2. Version of the GENNECT Cross (Older version may not function properly.)
  3. OS version of your smartphone or tablet is 4.3 or later (Android OS) or 10 or later (iOS).  Please note that the latest version may not function until our upgrade is completed.
  4. Communication is limited to a maximum of 8 instruments.  If an unnecessary instrument is registered, please remove it to make space for additional units.
  5. Turn on the GPS function of your smartphone or tablet.
  6. Reboot the smartphone or tablet and instruments.
