QI have a question about an analog tester. The polarity (+/-) is reversed when performing measurements with the resistance range. Why is this? Wouldn’t this invite mistakes, for example when checking diode polarity?
QThe specifications for the Clamp On Leak HiTester 3283 indicate a maximum rated voltage to earth of 300 V rms AC (insulated conductor) (CAT III, 300 V). Can the 3283 be used to measure a 3-phase 400 V circuit?
A
Display of measurement data in a format such as “1.05E+02”
QWhen I used Excel to view measurement data recorded onto a PC card with a clamp-on power meter, the voltage U1 was displayed in a format such as “1.05E+02.”
QI’d like to record a 4 to 20 mA measurement signal with my Memory HiLogger, but the instrument lacks a suitable measurement range. Is there a method I can use to record this signal?
