Changes in the measured value of the insulation tester

Insulators generally have the following properties:
- Resistance value changes with temperature. (The higher the temperature, the lower the resistance)
- Resistance varies with the voltage being measured. (The higher the voltage applied, the lower the resistance)
- Resistance decreases with moisture absorption. (Resistance drops significantly in high humidity)
- For insulators with a capacitive component (capacitor), the resistance increases while the capacitor is being charged.
