Use the DC+AC function to measure a DC signal with ripple (AC component) that, for example, characterizes the output of converters.
The RMS value is displayed as the sum of DC and AC when using the DC+AC function.
If you measure the same signal in the DC function, the value will only represent the DC component.
If you measure using the AC function, the value will only represent the AC component.
