Version upgrade should be conducted by a qualified technician familiar with the functions and operations of model 3390-10.

Precaution when updating software:
・To conduct the version upgrade, USB memory stick or Hioki genuine CF card is required.
・During the version upgrade process, don’t turn off the power to the 3390-10 or remove the CF card(USB memory stick) from the slot. Turning power off will result in failure to upgrade the 3390-10 and the instrument must be returned to the Hioki factory for repair.

How to check the version number
The version numbers of firmware can be checked by viewing the bottom left portion of the startup window when the 3390-10 is turned on.
When selecting ”SYSTEM” screen, the currently running firmware version(s) number will appear.

Added functions:
1.Support for the Detecting Motor Rotation Direction function in the Motor Testing Option.
2.Support for the Selecting Calculation Method function, which enables to change the calculation methods when the wiring is 3P3W3M.When measuring the PWM waveform using the setting for rectification method ”MEAN”, the newly added operation can improve the mutual compatibility with measurement values of Model 3193.
V1.08 (May 2012)
Fixed bugs:
1.The operation when receiving the communication command ”:INTEGrate:RESet” did not conform to the operation when the DATA RESET key was pressed. The data will be output to another file by starting the integration after receiving the communication command ”:INTEGrate:RESet”.
2.When the results of noise measurement were output to a file, the output data was not updated at the moment the measurement results were updated.
Enhancements:
1.Stabilized the measurement values when CH A of the Motor Testing Option is set to ”Frequency input”.
2.When the Peak Hold Function of the Motor Testing Option is set, the absolute values are compared.
3.Improved the judgment method of the integration zero suppress when the sync source is set to ”DC50ms”.
