The FT3700 and FT3701 Infrared Thermometer are non-contact infrared temperature meters for industrial use. In principle, you can measure the surface of a human body; however, because it uses laser light, accidentally pointing the thermometer at the human eye can be extremely dangerous. Also, the accuracy of the product is ±2℃ (at the 0 to 100℃ range), a resolution that is impractical for analyzing body temperature with any meaningful results. In addition, the infrared ratio settings may also make it challenging to use for that purpose.
