If contaminants adhere to a measuring instrument, the insulation will worsen and increase the risk of electrical shock.

Hioki products are designed in accordance with Pollution Degree 2, which is "Normally only non-conductive pollution occurs. Temporary conductivity caused by condensation is to be expected."

Please do not use our products in wet environments or one that includes conducive dust.
