[LIB Electrode Slurry Analysis] What is "Uniformity of Relaxation Process"?

QWhat does the “uniformity of the relaxation process” mean in slurry analysis?

A

Relaxation processes derived from the same material likely exhibit a distribution that is affected by the state of contact.
If particles’ states of contact are uniform, then the relaxation processes that occur between conductive materials in conductive paths will all exhibit the same parameters.
The Nyquist plot obtained under such conditions will be half of a circle.
The distribution of relaxation processes derived from the same material can be expressed using CPE.
If particles’ states of contact are uniform, the CPE-p value will be 1.

By contrast, if particles’ states of contact are not uniform, then the frequency characteristics of the   relaxation processes that occur between conductive materials in conductive paths will exhibit a distribution.
The Nyquist plot obtained under such conditions will be shaped like an arc, and the corresponding CPE-p value will be less than 1.
