Hioki Opens Middle East Representative Office in Dubai
Company Seeks to Cultivate Business by Offering Support to Local distributors and Customers
Hioki is pleased to announce the opening of its Middle East Representative Office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), on May 19.
To date, Hioki has sold primarily measuring instruments such as clamp-on ammeters and digital multimeters in the Middle East, which it considers a key market. Going forward, the company believes that there is room to expand sales of its products, including in research and development applications. Its purpose in opening a representative office in Dubai, the economic center of the Middle East, is to cultivate its electric measuring instrument business in the region.
Hioki sells its products in the Middle East market through distributors. In the future, the company will take advantage of the new representative office both to conduct research and gather information related to product development and sales strategy formulation, and to take advantage of opportunities for offering more fine-grained support to local distributors and customers.
