The 3551 is a 300 mΩ to 30 Ω/30V portable battery internal resistance tester suitable for testing high-capacity alkali and lead-acid storage batteries used in mobile devices.

Note: The 3555 is unable to make PASS/FAIL judgments for lithium-ion batteries due to the extremely small magnitude of the changes in their internal resistance. For applications involving measurement of batteries with low internal resistance, for example lead acid batteries, use the Battery Tester BT3554-50.
