How can I record a longer event waveform?

QHow can I record a longer event waveform?

A

If you set the continuous event to the maximum value of 5, the PW3198 can capture a 1 s event waveform (200 ms × 5) after an event occurs (200 ms). Although the PW3198 does not allow you to capture the waveform prior to the event in question, the PQ3100 does provide that capability.

In addition to the event itself (200 ms), the PQ3100 can capture up to 1 s before the event and up to 10 s after the event. The instrument does not allow you to check continuous waveforms. Instead, use the included PC application PQ ONE for that purpose.
