PW8001 Power Analyzer User Manual Wins Merit Award in the Industry Category at the Japan Manual Awards 2022
HIOKI is pleased to announce that the PW8001 Power Analyzer User Manual won a Merit Award (Industry category) at the Japan Manual Awards 2022, which was hosted by the Japan Technical Communicators Association (TC Association). The accolade marks the fifth consecutive year for HIOKI to win an award at the Japan Manual Awards.
The manual was also nominated for Manual of the Year 2022.
Reasons for award
The PW8001 User Manual was chosen for the Merit Award based principally on the following qualities:
•The manual exhibits a high degree of completeness and is designed so as to inspire a desire to use the product on the part of readers.
•The entire manual is produced from the user’s perspective.
•The manual complies with the principles outlined in IEC/IEEE 82079-1 and with associated requirements.

•The cover includes a simplified table of contents that guides readers to important content.
•The cover includes a 2D barcode that lets readers access a questionnaire, providing an effective means for bringing customer feedback to bear on future manuals.
•The manual presents the measurement process in a concise manner, communicating an overall vision of associated tasks to readers and allowing them to progress through documentation with a sense of purpose.
•Procedures make effective use of illustrations, allowing users to use the product with peace of mind.
In addition to Japanese and English, HIOKI publishes manuals for the products it sells in numerous languages and delivers them to customers worldwide.
