Maximum input voltage 1000 V. High voltage battery tester for EV and PHEV.

The BT3564 simultaneously measures both internal resistance and battery voltage with an input voltage of up to 1000 V. This battery tester is perfect for shipping and receiving inspections of battery packs ranging from increasingly higher voltage EV and PHEV batteries to home storage batteries.

Probe supports 1000 V and high voltage battery packs (option)

Safely and smoothly measure high voltage battery packs with the 1000 V probe.

Built-in spark discharge reduction function

Spark discharges become more likely with measurements of higher voltages. The BT3564 limits the current that flows when contacting battery packs, thus reducing spark discharges.

Analog output function

Complete with a built-in resistance value analog output function. Combine it with a recorder or logger for total resistance value monitoring.

The De Facto Standard of Battery Testers

The HIOKI BT356x series
These highly advanced battery testers are best suited for shipping and acceptance inspections of cells and battery packs. They simultaneously measure internal resistance and the battery’s open-circuit voltage (OCV).

Since the AC-IR measurement method is used, the measurement time is shortened. In addition, highly repeatable results are attained with this method. These testers have a highly accurate 3 mΩ range, allowing for a resistance measurement of battery tab welding and bus bars. All of this combines for the best choice in battery testers.

High input voltage applications The input high voltage (1,000 V) model, BT3564, can measure the total resistance of the battery whole pack at once.
