Measurement Error Defect on Chemical Impedance Analyzer IM3590
Description of the Defect
Under the following conditions, measured impedance values may fluctuate considerably, causing non-conformance with the specified measurement accuracy.
- Measurement frequency: 1 kHz or the range between 9.3 kHz and 10 kHz
- Measurement speed: FAST
- Measurement range: 10 kΩ range
- Measurement object: Capacitor (1.6 nF to 160 nF) or inductor (16 mH to 1.6 H)

Countermeasures
Follow the procedure described below to install the firmware V1.10 onto the instrument.
- 1.Download the latest firmware and the document “How to update Model IM3590.”
- 2.Store the firmware onto the USB flash drive.
- 3.Install the firmware onto the instrument by following the document “How to update Model IM3590.”
