Request to Update Firmware Versions of PRECISION BATTERY TESTER BT6065 and BT6075

We have confirmed that the measurement values may not satisfy the accuracy assurance specifications under specific setting conditions.
Please read the following and update your units.

Details of the Nonconformity
The nonconformance may occur when executing zero-adjustment, referential adjustment or DC-voltage Self-calibration, while all three of the following conditions are met:
• Trigger source: INTERNAL
• Trigger-reception continuous Mode: ON
• DC-voltage self-calibration: MANUAL
Note
The nonconformance may occur in the ΩV and V functions. It does not occur in the Ω function.

Our Response
The updated firmware to correct the above nonconformance has been posted on our web site on September 9, 2026.

How to update the firmware
1. Please download the applicable firmware update tool, firmware, and update instructions from the Software Downloads page on my HIOKI, available on the HIOKI website.

2. The BT6065 and BT6075 support OTA updates via GENNECT One. To perform the update, install GENNECT One V5.50 or later on a PC, connect the BT6065 or BT6075 to the PC via LAN, and perform an instrument search from the console screen. Then follow the instructions to update the firmware. An Internet connection for the PC and a GENNECT Cloud account are required.
