FTP and Windows 10 Microsoft Edge
QI am using the FTP data transfer function with the MR8875 Memory HiCorder. When I updated my OS from Windows 7 to Windows 10, I also switched my browser from Internet Explorer to Microsoft Edge, but now I can't connect to the MR8875 via FTP.
In general, Microsoft Edge* does not support connection to an FTP server. We recommend installing Internet Explorer to continue using the FTP function.
*Microsoft Edge is the standard built-in web browser bundled with Windows 10.
Alternatively, use your Windows 10 File Explorer function and add a new network location to your PC. Specify the new network location as the address of the FTP server in the form of "ftp://server.com".
For larger data transfers, we recommend using an FTP client.
