Minus sign on the measured value of inductance (LCR Meter)

If the inductance (L) is displayed as a negative value in the measurement with the Impedance Analyzer IM7581, check the value of the impedance phase angle (θ). When the phase angle (θ) is between -90° to 0°, the inductance (L) is negative because it is capacitive (capacitor). Also, when the phase angle (θ) is between 0° to 90°, the capacitor (C) is negative because it is inductive (coil).
