Automobiles
| Examples
of automobile signals measured at various points
During vehicle drive tests or engine tests, it
is necessary to observe the relationship between a large number
of parameters. A multi-channel recorder is required to accomplish
this.
The following are examples of points that should be measured inside
the vehicle.

Battery voltage, intake air noise sensor, aerometer, water
temperature sensor, cylinder distinguishing sensors, reference
position sensor, throttle full-open sensor, starter signal,
02 sensor, neutral sensor, vehicle speed sensor, acceleration
sensor, etc. |

| ABS
timing
The Anti-skid Brake System (ABS) is a safety function
that prevents locked brakes by controlling the cylinder fluid pressure
by means of speed sensors and wheel speed sensors.
A MEMORY HiCORDER can be used to capture the output signals of the
speed sensors and wheel speed sensors, allowing analysis of the
ABS timing waveform.

| Measurement
of transmission vibrations
During development of transmissions, a MEMORY HiCORDER
can be used to measure vibrations.
Used in combination with a Strain Amp and vibration sensors attached
at various points enables measurement of torque vibration and vibration
of each point in relation to changes in rotation speed, load, etc.
Vibration measurement is not limited to the transmission; it can
be conducted at any part of the vehicle, such as the engine, for
devices installed in the vehicle, etc.
