Respecting Individuality and Enhancing Abilities |
|
For HIOKI, people are the most important resource. Enhancing people's abilities and developing their potential means enriching the company. We respect individuality and are keen to nurture creativity. The "Respect for Humanity" motto expresses this concept on an elevated level.
According to this philosophy, HIOKI nurtures a corporate culture of work for self-development by participation in in-house and external seminars, by taking correspondence courses and by OJT with a target of 40 hours of training per year for every employee. We also provide self-development assistance such as subsidizing fees for correspondence courses, which many employees take advantage of every year. |

Beneficial Social Facilities |
|
We believe that people should work in a stimulating and comfortable environment. We have created HIOKI Forest Hills for this purpose, where amidst a lush green forest we provide sports facilities that are open to the public, including a baseball field with a 100-meter distance from home plate to the left and right field fences, four all-weather tennis courts and other facilities, along with a clubhouse equipped with a Japanese-style room and a gym.
Adjacent to the main site is the HIOKI Lodge, a hotel-type accommodation facility for both employees and our customers from around the world. The facility offers both breakfast and dinner, and is designed to provide plenty of personal space for individuals.
Additionally, we completed the HIOKI Hall in 2006, where employees can gather for events including lectures by noted speakers and concerts by famous performers from around the world. These events are open to the public and always attract a large number of from the community. |
