President's Message

Increasing Corporate Value by Developing Our Business from the Customer’s Perspective
Tatsuyoshi Yoshiike Since its founding in 1935, HIOKI has been involved in the development, manufacture, and sale of electrical measuring instruments. During the early part of our history, mass-produced meters and testers comprised the bulk of our business, but following the oil embargos of the 1970s, we sought to modernize our management and transform our business by refocusing on quality instead of quantity. Today, we are proud to offer more than 200 models in 4 product groups as we continue to evolve in response to our customers’ constantly changing needs.

The future direction of the global economy seems to grow more opaque with each passing day. Yet never during the more than 70 years since our founding have we been more committed to pursuing the corporate philosophy that anchors our business.

This philosophy is founded on the dual principles of Respect for Humanity and Contribution to Society. Going forward, we will achieve corporate growth by creating a free and vigorous work environment that fosters employee growth. At the same time, we will strive to contribute to the greater good of all stakeholders, starting with the local communities in which we operate.

All of us at HIOKI are committed to coming together to increase corporate value by developing our business from the customer’s perspective.
President    Tatsuyoshi Yoshiike
