HIOKI Model 3390 Power Analyzer Firmware Release Notes

Update time Version number Content
April 2010 V1.07 Fixed bugs:
1. When the wiring mode is set to 3P3W3M and the U rectifying method is set to MEAN, values for apparent power, reactive power, power factor and phase were found to be incorrect.
2. When attempting to save waveforms while noise sampling is set to 500kS/s, the data before and after the waveform were found to be switched.
3. Upon using the boot key reset but not performing a zero adjustment before turning off the power while in the Quick Setup page, the 3390 failed to power on.
4. In the wiring screen, when the current side of the vector range mark is 3P3W2M and the Δ-Y conversion for 3P3W3M is turned OFF, some areas were found to drift 10 degrees.
Enhancements:
1. Support for integrated measurement of devices for controlling cycles
2. Unbalance display even when the frequency is unstable
July 2009 V1.06 Fixed bugs:
1. When continuously sending large files of setting commands through PC communication, the device was found to freeze.
2. When using LAN communication and repeatedly opening and closing the TCP port, connection could not be achieved after the 33rd action.
3. When sending the: INTEGrate:STARt and :INTEGrate:STOP command, even if they are normally executed an SESR error bit was found to occur.
4. Averaging was found to apply during noise measurements.
5. In the NOISE and WAVE+NOISE screens, the LPF and Sync Source settings displayed on the top portion of the screen were found to be incorrect.
Enhancements:
1. Addition of the :CALCulate[CH] command
2. Chinese language display
April 2009 V1.05 Fixed bugs:
1. The accuracy of the effective power value during 3P3W3M mode was found to be out of the uncertainty range.
2. Under 3P3W3M mode with Δ-Y conversion turned OFF, the 0 order value for harmonic power was found to be incorrect.
3. When outputting data, depending on the number of output orders for harmonic and the maximum order setting, data for orders not specified in the settings were found to also output.
4. During remote operation, the SAVE key failed to operate.
Enhancements:
1. USB compatibility added for the application software
2. When sending communication commands, lower case symbols are now prevented from being converted to upper case symbols
3. An error message will now appear when the CIS Tuple information for the CF card is not correct
4. The 0 order of the harmonic content is now displayed.
5. English language display
March 2009 V1.04 Initial release.
