Dear Valued Customers:

Thank you very much for your continued patronage.

HIOKI has identified that the graphic symbol printed on certain models of clamp on testers and sensors to represent compliance to safety standards for handheld current sensors is incorrect, and will take steps to revise the indication the following models: 3283 CLAMP ON LEAK HiTESTER, and 9657, 9657-10, and 9675 CLAMP ON LEAK SENSORS. Please refer to the following for complete details. We apologize for any inconveniences caused, and thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

1. Graphic Symbol Error
Models 3283 CLAMP ON LEAK HiTESTER, and 9657, 9657-10, and 9675 CLAMP ON LEAK SENSORS are categorized as B Type sensors according to the EN61010-2-032:2002 safety standard for handheld current sensors since the standard's enactment in November 2005. As such, the Graphic Symbol 101 (see below) should be the correct mark printed on the instrument. However, Graphic Symbol 102 to represent Type A sensors was used.
Correct Graphic Symbol 101 Incorrect Graphic Symbol 102
