| OVERVIEW |
| HIOKI E.E. CORPORATION has developed the Model 9743 Optical Sensor especially for blue-violet lasers. |
| Product Overview |
The Hioki 9743 Optical Sensor has the capabilities needed for testing blue-violet laser pickups used with the next-generation optical discs. When used together with our existing Model 3664 Optical Power Meter, optical power of blue-violet lasers can be measured. |

The Hioki 9743 Optical Sensor for blue-violet lasers has the following features:
- Flat wavelength sensitivity characteristic around 405 nm
Provides stable measurements without scattering the wavelength of the object being measured
- Low-reflectivity optical receptor surface with little dependence on angle of incidence
Because the lens is close to the optical sensor surface, stable measurements are achieved even with optical pickups for the next generation of optical discs, which present a large angle of incidence to the optical receptor surface.
- Two form-factors available to suit different applications
Model 9743 is designed for easy hand-held operation, while Model 9743-10 is designed for installation in assembly line systems. |
