Model 8423 MEMORY HiLOGGER
Fast 0.01 s Sampling Interval
Data Logging of up to 600 Channels
OVERVIEW More Details DOWNLOAD CATALOG
HIOKI has developed a data acquisition system that can measure and record on multiple channels at high speed.

Data loggers that measure and record temperature or voltage output from various transducers over long periods have been used widely in the production departments of factories and plants, as well as for laboratory testing and research facilities.
Overview
The MEMORY HiLOGGER 8423 enables real-time data acquisition on a PC. Three types of measurement modules and one output module can be connected in combination to flexibly construct a 15- to 600-channel system to suit a particular application. Acquired data can be easily analyzed on the PC, so this instrument is ideal for collecting data for evaluation and testing at development sites. This new device should be of particular interest to those customers who desire evaluations with faster sampling than our current MEMORY HiLOGGER models, and who need more measurement channels.
Advantages
  • Fastest measurement cycle (sampling interval) is 10 ms (0.01 s)
In the development of electric and hybrid automobiles, the need to capture sudden swings in various loads requires a measurement instrument with multi-channel 0.01 s sampling capability.
  • Expandable up to 120 channels with a single instrument, and up to five 120-channel instruments can be connected for up to 600 channels
In the development and evaluation of fuel cells, tens or hundreds of approximately 1.2 V cells are connected in series, so many measurement input channels are required to monitor the voltage of each cell.
  • Easy post-measurement analysis. New "Double-Knob" function (patent pending)
Analysis is easy using the new "Double-Knob" function in the data acquisition and analysis PC program. The scroll boxes in the scroll bars of two side-by-side waveform display windows indicate the relative positions of the two displayed waveform segments within the overall waveform data. Using this function, two segments anywhere within the acquired data can be magnified for detailed side-by-side scrutiny.
Primary Applications
  • Automotive development
  • Railroads development
  • Air conditioning development
  • Home appliance development
  • Fuel cell development
