Impact of the Tohoku, Kanto, and Nagano Earthquakes on the HIOKI Group HIOKI has been able to confirm the whereabouts and safety of all of our staff and their families. Despite the severe earthquake that hit the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, home to the HIOKI headquarters, our buildings and facilities were unaffected. However, HIOKI's Tohoku Sales Office located in the Wakabayashi Ward in Sendai City suffered a fair amount of damage as a result of the quake, and we are doing our utmost to restore our operations in that region.
